Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great with my new baby! I have never used a wrap before, so I cannot compare this one to others, but I really love this one. I am a large mama, and it fits, it holds my baby (now 9 weeks old) securely enough that I have two free hands and she sits high all day, and after I watched the video to figure out how to wear it, it is pretty easy to put on. We do sweat when we wear it outside midday, but I also live in Florida, so we would sweat anyway, and there have only been a couple of times when I thought the wrap made it tons worse. All in all, I think it is a great product, though not a replacement for my carrier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Little piece of heaven I bought this a month ago and was intimidated by wraps prior to owning. We have loved ll our ergobaby products and the wrap proved to be no different. It was simple to use, and the greatest part was my 8 month old daughter loves it. It's become my go to babywearing product. I'm so happy we bought it and I recommend it to every mama looking for a wrap

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for a first time mom in the winter The material is a nice long stretchy fabric, only takes a few times to get the hang of it. I'm a size 16 and it is long enough for me, but there isn't much extra fabric. Downsides: it really isn't functional. If you want to use it for example at the store, you need to tie it on before you leave and just leave it on. That may not sound too bad to you, but it is HOT. My baby and I both cook in this. The fabric is so long (same with all wraps) that a lot of it is on the ground when you are wrapping it on. It isn't exactly easy to get baby in and out of, which probably gets easier with more practice. Maybe wraps just aren't for me, I prefer the convenience of being able to quickly strap my baby to me in a carrier much cooler, and quickly remove baby and carrier. I have used this with my 2 week old 7lb baby for the past 2 days, I am returning it tomorrow for a Ergobaby Original Carrier and insert. Quality fabric, just inconvenient concept. Especially to a busy mother of 3!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WAY Too Complicated! I don't know about other people but for me - there is no way on earth I am spending 6 minutes trying to wrap this contraption around myself to carry my kid. I especially love how the instructional video says to make sure you have a partner to assist you! Um, what??? If I can't do this by myself, how practical is this item in the end? And where is your baby while you're carefully wrapping this contraption around yourself? Has anyone ever tried to do this in a crowded restaurant or store? Didn't think so. Doing myself a favor and getting a proper baby carrier that slips over my shoulders and buckles...done and done!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the right amount of stretch I received the wrap when my second baby was about 3 months old. By that point I already had several wraps and carriers. I consider the yoga pant material ideal for babies 6 months and younger. It is less stretchy than a moby wrap and keeps it's shape much better. I used the moby up to 3 months-old and this one up to 5-6 months-old. I own a few woven wraps, but I liked this one better for the younger babies since it has the little bit of stretch. I feel like it hugs them in close. With the wovens, you have to get it exactly just the right amount of tension in all the right places, and the ergo wrap is more forgiving. Plus you can take baby in and out. Sizewise: I'm petite, 5'2" and thin, and it was pretty long on me. I tied it around my waist an extra time. I don't know the exact length, but it's definitely longer than my size 6 wraps. Bonus: I loved how it folded up on itself and packed into the pocket. There is also a handle for carrying.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Good for Petites This wrap is made of nice, sturdy material, but it's huge. At 5'1 I feel like it swallows me. Additionally, I think because the material is sturdy it's too thick and heavy for my liking. I would recommend for anyone taller than me or in cold weather.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love I recieved the ergo baby wrap a few weeks ago and have been using it out and about, and around the house. At first I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to figure out how to put it on... or that it would be too time consuming to figure it out. BUT once i learned how to properly put the ergo baby wrap on (took me about 5 minutes the first try) it has been SO easy to whip it on and off. I bring it with me when I go grocery shopping and it is a life saver! I can comfortably shop with a hand free and it is easy on my back. I would highly reccomend this to any friends and family. The only thing I don't like is that it is soooooo long and a bit difficult to manage when first putting it on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My baby and I love this wrap! Bought this for baby #3 and so happy I did! After watching the instructional video on YouTube and practicing a couple times I find it easy to put on and easy to take baby in and out of without any help. I've worn it around my house to instantly calm my baby, been able to do get things done around the house while he comfortably sleeps in the wrap, I've used it for taking walks around my neighborhood and going for as long as 2 hour hikes in the woods, I've used it grocery shopping....I got lots of use out of it on our family vacation (my son was 6 or 7 weeks old at the time), he was in the wrap as we walked the beach, went into town, and even while we ate at restaurants with no complaints from him whatsoever! And it was comfortable to wear for extended periods of time which I liked! He's now almost 4 months old and still likes to be in the wrap! Best purchase I've made for him! Especially with 2 other children at home, having free hands comes in very handy! Baby was born in the summer and never found it to be too hot for either of us.
